Waiting for Pickup & Delivery Report

The Waiting for Pickup & Delivery report lists all prescriptions with a Workflow status of Waiting for Pickup and/or Waiting for Delivery. The report lists Owe Balances separate from initial fills. You can use this report to monitor prescriptions in the Will Call bin and identify those that can be reversed because they have not been picked up. The report can be generated for all prescriptions with the applicable Workflow statuses or for prescriptions that have been in the Will Call bin for a specified number of days.

The Waiting for Pickup & Delivery report lists all prescriptions with a Workflow status of Waiting for Pickup and/or Waiting for Delivery. The report lists Owe Balances separate from initial fills if Digital Owe Balance is ON. You can use this report to monitor prescriptions in the Will Call bin and identify those that can be reversed because they have not been picked up. The report can be generated for all prescriptions with the applicable Workflow statuses or for prescriptions that have been in the Will Call bin for a specified number of days.

Generate this report weekly to maintain your Will Call bin.

The Detailed report can be filtered and sorted from Preview. You can view Owe Balances only by entering "Bill Code Equals owe amt" in the Filter window. Both the Detailed and Summary reports can be saved.

  • Patient - generates the report for the specified patients.

    To generate the report for multiple patients:

    1. Place the cursor in the Patient field. Select Search. The Patient Search window opens.

    2. In the search criteria section, enter each patient's information on separate rows.

    3. Select Search.

    4. In the results section, highlight one patient and then use the CTRL button on your keyboard to select additional patients as needed.

    5. Select OK.

    6. "Several..." appears in the Patient field to indicate multiple patients have been selected.

  • Drug - generates the report for the specified drug(s). Multiple drugs should be separated by a forward slash (/). A maximum of 12 drugs can be entered in this field.

  • Third Party - generates the report for the specified Third Party.

  • # Days in Bin - generates the report for prescriptions that have maintained a Workflow status of Waiting for Pickup and/or Waiting for Delivery for the specified number of days. Options include:

    • 0-7

    • 8-14

    • 15-21

    • 22-28

    • 29 +

    • All

  • Report Type

    • Detailed - displays information for each Waiting for Pickup and/or Waiting for Delivery prescription on the report. A summary of totals also appears at the bottom of the report. This is the default option.

    • Summary - lists the total number of Waiting for Pickup and Waiting for Delivery prescriptions and the total dollar value of all prescriptions, subtotaled by Workflow status. When Summary is selected, the Include Workflow Status options become disabled.

  • Include Workflow Status

    • All - generates the report for Waiting for Pickup and Waiting for Delivery prescriptions. This is the default option.

    • Waiting for Delivery - generates the report for Waiting for Delivery prescriptions.

    • Waiting for Pickup - generates the report for Waiting for Pickup prescriptions.

  • Days in Bin - sorts prescriptions in descending order by the number of days they have held a Waiting for Pickup or Waiting for Delivery status. The report is subsequently sorted by patient name alphabetically in ascending order and then by prescription number in ascending order. This is the default option.

  • Patient - sorts prescriptions alphabetically by patient name in ascending order. The report is subsequently sorted by number of Days in Bin in descending order and then by prescription number in ascending order.

  • Total Rx $ - sorts prescriptions by prescription dollar value in descending order. The report is subsequently sorted by number of Days in Bin in descending order and then by patient name alphabetically in ascending order.
