Capped Rules

This topic is intended for Independent pharmacies only and is not applicable to Rexall pharmacies.

A fee and/or markup cap can be set for any Third Party, sub plan, Custom Class, or drug schedule. A cap is the maximum amount that can be charged for prescriptions following that Pricing Strategy. When the prescription's fee and/or markup exceeds the cap, the cap value is charged instead.

Setting a Markup Cap

To set a markup cap:

Select More > Pricing > Strategies tab..
Select the applicable row on the pricing tree that you would like to modify.
In the Capped Rules section, enter a Markup Cap.
Select Save.

Setting a Fee Cap

To set a fee cap:

Select More > Pricing > Strategies tab.
Select the applicable row on the pricing tree that you would like to modify.
In the Capped Rules section, enter a Fee Cap.
Select Save.
