Pack Size Updates - Refill Prescriptions
To prevent medication errors when filling a prescription with repeats, a prompt displays to identify when a pack size has changed since the last fill. When refilling a prescription whose drug had a pack size update, a prompt displays in Rx Detail. Upon selecting Continue, the recommended values are entered in their respective fields but they can be overriden if needed.
An alert also displays in the Alerts section of Rx Detail. It will take priority over all other notes and will appear at the top of the section.
The first page of the Audit History window will also print.
