Inactivating or Removing a Prescriber Location
A prescriber's location can be inactivated or removed if the prescriber is no longer working at a specific PrescribeIT®-enabled located by inactivating the Location ID.
To inactivate or remove a prescriber location:

Search for and select a prescriber.

In the Main tab of the Prescriber Folder folder, navigate to the address that needs to be inactivated or removed.

Clear the Location ID checkbox.
An Inactivate Prescriber Location ID prompt appears.

Select one of the following:

Inactivate Location ID - retains the Location ID for the address tab, but clears the checkbox.

Remove Location ID - removes the Location ID from the address tab.
Remove Location ID is only available when there are no PrescribeIT® transactions associated to the ID.

Select OK. The prompt closes and the Location ID is either inactivated or removed.
Processing a PrescribeIT® Prescription for an Inactive Location
If you inactivate a PrescribeIT® location and later receive a PrescribeIT® prescription from that location, you will receive the prompt below upon processing the prescription.
You will need to reactivate the prescriber location from the prompt or Prescriber Folder in order to process the prescription.
