Enrolling Patients in Amjay Software Solutions

This topic is intended for Independent pharmacies only and is not applicable to Rexall pharmacies.

Patients with any status can be enrolled in the Amjay program, however, patients under 14 years of age cannot be enrolled (i.e., the Amjay Enroll/Decline button will be disabled).

To enroll a patient in the Amjay program:

  1. Open the Patient Folder.

  2. On the Main tab, select the sub-tab that corresponds to the patient's primary address.

  3. Enter the patient's email address under the primary address sub-tab.

  4. Select Save.

  5. Select the Programs tab.

  6. Next to the Amjay field, select the Enroll/Decline button. The Amjay Enrollment window opens with the patient's email address pre-populated.

You cannot the edit the email address from this window; if it is incorrect, you must edit it from the Patient Folder Main tab.

  7. Select Enroll. If successful, the following actions occur:

    • The Amjay enrollment status updates to Patient Enrolled.

    • The date and time that the patient was enrolled is recorded in the Amjay Enrollment window and Patient History tab.

    • In the Patient Folder Main tab, the PAT INT# field populates with a number and becomes disabled. PAT INT# is the card number as called by Amjay Software Solutions, which will be used by the patient to log into their app or web portal.

    • Amjay Software Solutions will send a temporary PIN to the patient via text or email that the patient will use to log in and create their account.

    • The patient's notification preferences are defaulted accordingly:

      • Notification Channel - Amjay

      • Communication Method - Email

      • Communication Preference - primary email address

      • Pickup Reminders - Accepted

      • Refill Reminders - Accepted

      • Pre-Compliance (days) - 3

Review the patient's notification preferences and update them if needed. For more information, see Amjay Software Solutions Refill Reminders and Amjay Software Solutions Pickup Reminders.
