Declining Patients from Amjay Software Solutions

This topic is intended for Independent pharmacies only and is not applicable to Rexall pharmacies.

If a patient no longer wants to be enrolled in the Amjay program at your pharmacy, they can be declined from the program. Once declined, the patient can no longer view their prescription profile on the app or website. They can however, still submit refill requests to your pharmacy through text, IVR, or the website.

If a patient wants to reset their user credentials or forgot them, decline and re-enroll them in Amjay to issue a new PAT INT# (card number used for login).

To remove a patient from the Amjay program:

  1. Open the Patient Folder.

  2. Select the Programs tab.

  3. Next to the Amjay field, select the Enroll/Decline button. The Amjay Enrollment window opens.

  4. Select Decline. If successful, the following actions occur:

    • The Amjay enrollment status of the patient is changed to Declined.

    • The PAT INT# is removed in the Patient Folder Main tab.

    • The patient will no longer see prescriptions dispensed at your pharmacy on the app or website.

    • If the patient was linked to more than one pharmacy, the link is only broken between the patient and your pharmacy. The patient can still manage their prescriptions from their other linked pharmacies.

    • The date and time that you unenrolled the patient is recorded in the Patient Folder History tab.

    • The preferences in the Notifications section of the Programs tab revert to a state of Not Asked or blank. Review these preferences and update them if needed.
