Immunizations

Immunizations can be recorded as a clinical note.

Prescriptions can be linked directly to immunizations and if a follow-up or booster shot is required, it can be scheduled directly from the Clinical Notes window and is automatically added to the Activities tile.

In Alberta, publicly or privately funded immunizations administered to a patient can be uploaded directly to Imm/ARI from Propel Rx. To learn more about adding immunization records, refer to the Immunizations (Imm/ARI Integration) section of the Alberta RTI User Guide.

In British Columbia, immunizations added as clinical notes in Propel Rx are saved locally only and not transmitted to the EHR.

In Saskatchewan, immunizations added as clinical notes in Propel Rx are saved locally only and not transmitted to the EHR.

In Newfoundland and Labrador, immunizations added as a clinical note are transmitted to the DIS. To learn more about adding immunizations, refer to the Clinical History section of the Newfoundland and Labrador DIS User Guide.

In New Brunswick, immunizations added as clinical notes in Propel Rx are saved locally only and not transmitted to the EHR.

In Nova Scotia, immunizations added as a clinical note are transmitted to the DIS. To learn more about adding EHR Professional Service clinical notes, refer to the Clinical History section of the Nova Scotia DIS User Guide.
