Technical Validation in Patient Centre
The Technical Validation tab is located within the prescription e-Verify module in Patient Centre. When the prescription e-Verify module is launched, you will see the Technical Validation tab, as well as the Clinical Review tab next to it as displayed below. The Technical Validation tab only lists prescriptions that require a technical check.
Searching for and Selecting a Prescription for Technical Validation
When selecting a prescription to perform a technical check, you can find the prescription within the Technical Validation tab in three ways:
Select the Prescription from the list

From the list of prescriptions in the Technical Validation tab, locate and select the desired prescription.

Select Process. The prescription opens in the Technical Validation tab.
Scan the Prescription's vial copy

Use a barcode scanner to scan the barcode on the prescription vial copy that was printed following Packaging. The prescription automatically opens in the Technical Validation tab.
Search for the Prescription

In the Search bar, search for the prescription (i.e., patient's name). The list will populate the prescription(s) that match your search criteria.
If you search the prescription number in the Search bar, the prescription automatically opens in the Technical Validation tab if an exact match is found.

Select the desired prescription from the list.

Select Process. The prescription opens in the Technical Validation tab.
Sorting the Technical Validation Workbench
Select the column header to sort by ascending (
) or descending (
) order for each column. By default, prescriptions are sorted by Ready Time.
