Alternative Tab
The Alternative tab lists all DINs that are interchangeable with the drug and any custom classes that the drug belongs to. Interchangeables for a drug are based on the provincial formulary.
In Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island, drugs are considered interchangeable in Propel Rx if they have the same generic name, strength, and form. Some exceptions may apply.
The Alternative tab lists all DINs that are interchangeable with the drug.
