Marking Compliance Packages as Packaged

Once the prescriptions have been physically packaged and received from Central Fill, the prescriptions are to be marked as Packaged.

These prescriptions remain in the Packaging queue under the Compliance tab until this step is done.

When setting prescriptions from McKesson Central Fill as packaged, the inventory is not decremented from your pharmacy.

To mark a compliance packages as packaged:

  1. From the Workbench, select the Packaging queue.

  2. From the Compliance tab, highlight a prescription part of a Central Fill group.

  1. From the Compliance tab, highlight a prescription part of a Central Fill or non-retail packager group.

  1. Highlight a prescription that was previously sent to a packager and select Process. A prompt displays.

  2. Select All Prescriptions for Packager.

  3. Select Process. The Compliance Automated Packaging window appears.

  4. Highlight all of the packaged prescriptions received from McKesson Central Fill and select Package.

  1. Highlight all of the packaged prescriptions received from Central Fill or the non-retail packager and select Package.

  1. A prompt appears asking you confirm if the prescriptions should be packaged. Select Yes.

    The prescriptions are considered packaged in Propel Rx and are complete. These prescriptions will no longer appear in the Packaging queue.
