Calculating Creatinine Clearance for a Patient

The Creatinine function is available in the Patient Folder Clinical tab.

To calculate Creatinine Clearance for a patient:

1. Open the Patient Folder.

2. Select the Clinical tab.

3. In the Observations section, select Creatinine. The Creatinine Clearance window opens.

4. In the Drug of Choice section, select AMANTADINE OR TAMIFLU.

5. Verify the following fields:

   • Gender

   • Birth Date

   • Age

   • Height (cm)

   • Weight (kg)

6. In the SrCr (umol/L) fields, enter the serum creatinine for the patient.

7. If TAMIFLU was selected, select the Dose Type.

8. Select Calculate. The window displays the Creatinine Clearance and Dosage for the patient.

9. Optional: Select Print to print the information in the window.

10. Select OK to save changes and close the window.

11. Select Save.
