Calculating Creatinine Clearance for a Group

The Creatinine function in the Group Folder provides the ability to determine dosages for all patients in the Group.

To calculate Creatinine Clearance for a Group:

1. Select the Batch Manager navigator button .

2. Select the Groups tab.

3. Highlight the applicable Group.

4. Select Detail.

5. Select the Patients tab.

6. Select Creatinine. The Creatinine Clearance window opens, displaying all patients in the Group.

7. In the Drug of Choice section, select AMANTADINE OR TAMIFLU.

8. For each patient listed in the window, verify the following fields:

   • Gender

   • Birth Date

   • Age

   • Height (cm)

   • Weight (kg)

9. In the SrCr (umol/L) fields, enter the serum creatinine for each patient.

10. If TAMIFLU was selected, select the Dose Type.

11. Select Calculate. The window displays the Creatinine Clearance and Dosage for each patient.

12. Optional: Select Print to print the information in the window.

13. Select OK to save changes and close the window.

14. Select Save.
