Deleting a Standing Order

When a Standing Order is deleted from the Group Folder Standing Orders tab, it is completely removed from Propel Rx. Prescriptions linked to the Standing Order still exist, but become inactive. A prescription note is created for each prescription, indicating the Standing Order was deleted.

To delete a Standing Order:

  1. Select to open the Batch Manager.

  2. Select the Groups tab.

  3. Highlight the group.

  4. Select Detail.

  5. Select the Standing Orders tab at the bottom.

  6. Select the Standing Order(s) to be deleted.

  7. Select Delete. A prompt confirms the Standing Order(s) will be deleted and all related prescriptions will be inactivated.

  8. Select OK.
